Volunteering for Rural Assistance Nepal
|
| |
Volunteers do not need to have teaching experience.
For those who have teaching experience, helping train teachers would be a very valuable contribution as many of the teachers have little or no training and most teach using tradition lecture and rote learning techniques.
For doctors or nurses who would be interested in helping the healthpost, experience has shown that this is very valuable. By referring a critically ill patient to the hospital one day’s walk away can save lives.
For anyone interested in volunteering to do anything else in Nepal, please contact Marianne at m_heredge[at]yahoo.co.uk for further information. |
